Mcdonald’s - HOrnet

This project was one of many McDonald's campaigns I’ve had the pleasure of working on, but this one stood out because of the significant role I played. I was responsible for the look development of two key environments: the pumpkin patch and the scarecrow set. My responsibilities included modeling, layout, shading, lighting, and rendering.

Both environments were attentively crafted to align with the style frames and the director’s vision, setting the tone for the entire spot. To achieve this, I used Arnold ASS instance and Maya’s MASH instancing tools for ground debris and foliage, which not only sped up the process but also helped reduce render times. A personal highlight was a shot where the lighting transitioned seamlessly from evening to nighttime, It was a technical and creative process I truly enjoyed.
